I wish I would have photographed more of the steps I took because I know I like pictures so I will revisit this subject again on my next project. Basically I was pin basting my quilt on the dinning table, in the past I've tried other methods and didn't always like my results. If you have any suggestions on pin basting please share or if you just have a favorite way you like to pin baste I'd love to hear it.
Anyways as I said I was pinning and ran out of pins. Oh no! I think with previous projects I wasn't pinning close enough so I ran out this time and needed to invest in some more. First I found curved safety pins and then the covers and the kwik klip to easily remove and attach the pins without cursing too much. Here's my project pinned up.
Here's something that helped me as I quilted, I used the safety pins to pin the rolled up fabric as I quilted each row.
This really helped me. My quilting is all done and it's on to the binding.
Thanks for reading♥
