Throwback Thursday: How to fold an Old School Note

Start with a sheet of notebook paper and write your message...

Next fold down the upper right corner so that it meet the edge of the paper on the left side.

Now take the bottom right corner and bring it over to the bottom left corner. It should look like the photo below.

For the next step I like to flip the paper over.

And then fold the bottom up about 2½"

Then fold the top down to meet the bottom (this will be at that 2½" mark)

Now I like to flip the paper over again, it should look something like what you see below.

Now fold the top triangle tab down...

And tuck it under the existing diagonal fold. Now I think this looks upside down.

So I turn it to what I think should be right side up. Now you can add your TO: and FROM:

And if your nice or you think your recipient might have trouble opening this note you can leave a little tale sticking out on that last step.

Have fun writing notes. This sure reminded me of Junior high but I think I may just write a few notes for old times sake.
